Andrea Joy Cook better known as A.J. Cook is a well-known Canadian actress. Her best-known role is as Jennifer Jareau, a supervisory special agent in CBS's police show Criminal Minds. As of 2017, the thirteenth season of the show is in progress. The series began airing in 2005. Cook is a native of Ontario, born in Oshawa located in Ontario Province of Canada was a young actress who showed an interest in acting. Cook started her career as an actress by making an appearance as a guest in Goosebumps. She made her film debut with the 1999 drama film The Virgin Suicides. The film, however, was not well received. Following the film the film, she started appearing in the American Canadian drama Higher Ground as one of the main characters.
