Kristen Anne Bell, born 1980 in the US of America, is an actress and singer. She was born and raised in Huntington Woods, Michigan, and is the daughter of Lorelei (Frygier) who is Nurse and Tom Bell, a television news director. Kristen is Polish (mother's) as well as German (father's), English, Irish and Scottish ancestry. Kristen realized her potential within the industry of entertainment in her early years. Her role was as Raggedy Ann in 1992 after having attended her first audition. Bell, who was 13 when her mom signed up for an agent, was also auditioned for advertisements for newspapers and television. Also, she began private acting classes at that time. Bell was credited as a character in the movie Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998. Bell attended Shrine Catholic High School, where she took part in musical and drama clubs. The Wizard of Oz was performed by her high school and she won the role as Dorothy. Bell was a student of music theatre in the world-renowned Tisch School of the Arts in New York City after graduating. in 2001 Bell left university to play the role of Becky in Tom Sawyer. In 2001, it was also that Bell made her first appearance in a movie that had been credited, Pootie Tang (2002). However, her part is cut off and the credits are all that display her.
