Shailene Woodley is a famous American actor and activist. As a character in The Descendants, she played Alexandra King, an addicted teenager. Her praiseworthy performance as Alexa "Alex" King from The Descendants led to her taking on other characters effortlessly. Shailene was able to make her mark in the world of Hollywood early on in her career, which alone is a great achievement. The path she took began with commercials and TV shows however, she quickly moved to Hollywood movie roles. Her acting credits include numerous recognitions for her talents including her nomination for the MTV Movie Awards and People's Choice Awards.
