Linda Edna Cardellini (n e Lorraine (Hernan), was the daughter of Wayne David Cardellini (a businessman) in Redwood City. She is of Italian, German (from the paternal maternal grandmother), Irish and Scottish descent. Linda was the eldest child of California, grew up around and around the San Francisco Bay Area. As a teenager She began to get interested in acting after she sang in a Christmas school play. She performed in school plays and in local theatres. Linda went to Saint Francis High School, Mountain View in California. Her choice was between New York for theater and Los Angeles for film and TV after graduating. She decided to go to LA. Linda played her first major role on Bone Chillers, a 1996 TV show. Her breakout role came when she was cast as a character in Freaks and Geeks (1999). Lily James is a stage name given to Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson, an English actress born on the 5th of April, 1989. She began her career as an British actress in Just William (2010), a British series which aired on British television. Cinderella (2015) was her first feature film, following the role she was the lead actress in Lady Rose MacClare (2012-2015) in Downton Abbey which was a period drama. James was later cast as Countess Natasha Rostova in the television version of War & Peace (2016) and also appeared in a variety of films, including the action movie Baby Driver (2017), the period dramas Darkest Hour (2017), The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society (2018) as well as The Dig (2021), and the musicals Mamma Mia! We're Back (2019) and Yesterday (2018). Her performance as Pamela Anderson in the biographical show Pam & Tommy (2022) was nominated for the Golden Globe and a Primetime Emmy Award.
