Patricia Apollonia Kotero was an American singer and model from the United States. She is also co-starring in Prince's 1984 movie Purple Rain. Kotero is famous for her role as co-star in the film of Prince's Purple Rain and for having been the singer in the group of girls Apollonia 6. Apollonia was christened as an actress and singer by Prince. Through the 1980s, she became one among many other artists that benefited from Prince. Patricia Kotero, born 1959 in Santa Monica California began her career as a model and actress. in the latter half of the 1970s, she appeared on CHiPS. The lead female character in Prince's Purple Rain was her first role from 1984. Prince changed the girl's name in this period. The actress replaced Vanity with the female trio Vanity 6 who performed in the film in the role of Apollonia 6 replacing Vanity. Sex Shooter from the soundtrack made a tiny hit for her trio but as Prince's duet partner in Take Me with You she had more success. Kotero ended her relationship with Prince when they fell out about the fate of Apollonia 6. The singer then appeared in few minor films in the 1980s (reportedly refusing an offer to star in the follow-up to Purple Rain Under the Cherry Moon) and then settled on an evening-time part in the dramatic Falcon Crest in 1985-1986. Apollonia was the first artist to release her album in 1988, however it was a fairly pedestrian mix of dance and R&B music that failed to impress the people. The album was quickly wiped from view. Apollonia was active, even if not in the limelight, as an actor during the decade following with small appearances in films and on television. A workout DVD came out. Apollonia's album "Stay With Me" came out in 1997. She later returned to school to study filmmaking as well as a production company often working in children's television. Apollonia has many jobs.
